Eligibility:

A pass with minimum average marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, as well as in related subjects, vocational theory, and practicals, put together.

B.E./ B.Tech Lateral Entry Admissions:

Lateral entry admissions into various programs are as per the norms laid down by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu and Anna University. The program is designed for candidates with a 3-year diploma in engineering (10+3 pattern) or an equivalent degree to get direct admission to the 2nd year B.E./B.Tech programme.

Eligibility:

  • Passed a diploma in any branch of Engineering / Technology with a minimum of marks as given below. or
  • Passed B.Sc Degree in any recognized University with a minimum of marks as given below and passed 10+2 examination with mathematics as a subject.

M.E./ M.B.A Admissions

Admissions to all M.E./M.B.A programmes at BEC will be based on marks or grades obtained in B.E./B.Tech program and scores of TANCET/CET conducted by Consortium of Colleges as per Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test Regulations.

AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFW)

Eligibility:

  • Sons and daughters of parents whose annual income is less than Rs. 4.50 lakhs from all sources shall only be eligible under this scheme.
  • All other fees except tuition fee will have to be paid by the candidate.
  • Beneficiary student admitted under AICTE TFW scheme will not be allowed to change Institution / course under any circumstances.

Required Documents

AICTE TFW scheme is provided by the Management of the Institution.

Students will be given full semester fees as scholarship on the basis of:

  • Meritorious academic performance
  • Merit cum Means
  • Economic Means and Performance in Sports and NCC activities
